Electro-Motive Division (EMD) of GM is famous as a major US locomotive builder since the 1940's. Except for 2 demonstrators DH1 & DH2, the only real commercial small locomotive venture was the Model 40, introduced in 1940. Also we cover many other interesting "critters".
